 The first regional song contest for Nordic and Baltic minority languages will take place in Pajala, Sweden on Saturday September 15th 2007. The winners will qualify for Liet Lavlut 2008, the only European Song Contest for minority languages and the fifth contest since the start in 2002.

Facts about Liet-Lavlut Östersund 2006 |

Liet-Lavlut took place on October 14th 2006 at 7 to 9.30 pm in Östersund in Sweden and is the only song contest for linguistic minorities in Europe. The contest has been arranged in Frysland, Netherlands in 2002, 2003 and 2004 by Liet Foundation. In other words, this year the contest was arranged outside the Netherlands for the first time. Liet Foundation was responsible for the localisation of the event and an active partner during the practical arrangements along with the municipality of Östersund, SWEBLUL and Estrad Norr.
